Six tomato plants is a bit much for a window planter, unless they are all dwarf varieties. Luckily they are easy to transplant once they get to be about 6 in. high. They're going to get bushy and all up in each others' business.
If you do remove a few to a different planter, you can fill the spaces the other ones left with herbs like basil and stuff. OMG I'm a bossy gardener too ;__;
Haha we're so emotional. Angie, you don't have to kill the entire basil plant to eat it, you can just prune a few leaves at a time. If you take off too much, like a big stem, you can always put it in a glass of water and it will grow new roots! The stuff is tough, unlike us weepy girls ;__;
