Too much performance anxiety like this can be debilitating. Just think: if every bit of ink you commit to paper is laid down perfectly, then how are you supposed to evolve? How do people guage your progression later? If you can get yourself in the frame of mind that it's fun again, then that fun will come through in the work you produce (like they do in "Drive Captain, Drive" and "Like Astronauts" - both really good examples of what to do if nothing particularly diary-worthy happened that day (or awesomely-creative interpretations/hieroglyphics of things that did happen).
'course, I only *half* know what I'm talking about, and besides, judging by the rest of these comics, you seem to have got your 'groove back' (sorry to use that phrase). Props!
